- The town of Sandwich consists of the following villages - Sandwich, East Sandwich,
South Sandwich and Forestdale.
- Established in 1637, Sandwich is the oldest town on Cape Cod.
- Built in 1637, the Hoxie House is Cape Cod's oldest house.
- Sandwich is named after an English town where many of its first settlers came from.
- The famous 'Sandwich glass' produced here during the early nineteenth century, is prized by collectors.
- Sandwich is home to Heritage Plantation, one of Cape Cods most popular attractions.
