Wellfleet
- The town of Wellfleet consists of the following villages - Wellfleet and South Wellfleet.
- Wellfleet, originally part of Eastham, was incorporated in 1763.
- Wellfleet is home to a large section of the Cape Cod National Seashore.
- The shellfish industry has long been of primary importance to the Wellfleet economy.
- In 1903, on the cliffs of Wellfleet, Marconi transmitted the first wireless transatlantic message.
