Netscape
Navigator v3.x
This page describes how
to configure Netscape Navigator to access your POP email box. For general information
about POP email, please see POP Email Accounts.
- Select Mail and News
Preferences... from Options menu.
- Click on the Servers
tab at the top of the dialog box.
- For Outgoing Mail
Server: enter the SMTP server provided by your ISP. UNIX hosting users
may enter smtp..
- For Incoming Mail
Server: enter .
- For POP3 User
Name: enter the popID you specified when you created the POP
mailbox.
- Click on the Identity
tab at the top of the dialog box.
- For Name:
enter your name.
- For Your Email:
enter the email address for the POP mailbox.
- For Reply-to Address:
enter your email address.
All the other settings are
optional. Choosing Netscape Mail from the Window pull-down menu
will then open a box that will allow you read and send mail.
